The new patients include two in Danang City, one in Hai Duong Province, and one in Quang Nam Province.

The two new female patients in Danang are both medical workers aged 25 and 37. One is working at the Gia Dinh (Family) General Hospital and the other at the Danang Hospital.

The patient in Hai Duong Province is a 40-year-old woman in Tan Binh ward of Hai Duong City. She previously had close contact with two other Covid-19 patients in the area.

The last case is a 34-year-old man in Hoi An City in the central province of Quang Nam. His wife was previously confirmed as a Covid-19 patient.

With these latest infection cases, the number of Covid-19 patients related to Danang City has increased to 513 since July 25, the ministry said.

The same day, 15 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals, raising the total number of recoveries to 535. The country has reported 26 deaths.

At present, 81,585 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or returned from virus-hit areas are being monitored at hospitals, quarantine facilities, and at home.
