The incident occurred around 11 am on Friday in Luu Nghiep Anh Commune, Tra Cu District, when strong winds uprooted the tree and caused electrical cables to snap.

The two victims were riding a motorbike along the road and failed to see the low-hanging power line. On contact, both were electrocuted and died instantly.
Local authorities arrived at the scene shortly after to investigate and determine the cause of the accident.
