A series of European conferences and exhibitions on green business will be organised in Ho Chi Minh City next week, the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Eurocham) said at a press briefing on September 7.
GreenBiz 2011 aims to create a connection between Vietnamese and European businesses, focusing on sustainable urban development, green production and energy supply from climate change.
Eurocham CEO Matthias Duhn said that Vietnam is one the fastest growing economies in Asia and also one of the countries hit hardest by climate change.
Thus efforts need to be made right now to guarantee sustainable development, Duhn said.
The program will be going on during September 15 and 16 at White Palace Conference Center in HCMC.
