The incident happened at the cultural house in Lang Chang Village, Phong Du Thuong Commune, at around 8 pm.

According to Luong Van Thu, Chairman of Phong Du Thuong Commune, while many residents, including children, were watching a music show at the cultural house, a man reversed his car into the venue’s yard, striking the crowd. A six-year-old boy was killed, and 11 others were injured.
According to the Phong Du Thuong authorities, the injured have been taken to a medical centre for treatment.
The driver is the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phong Du Thuong Commune Party Committee.
Police are verifying whether the driver was over the alcohol limit.
