Dantri transfers gifts to veterans and fallen soldiers' families on July 21


This is a part of the series of events for the 74th War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27.

Dantri representatives worked with the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to visit and transfer the gifts to 10 families in Xuan Thuy Commune, Le Thuy District on July 21. Each gift is worth about VND1m. All of the families are poor and have elderly people.

Veteran Pham Van Liec said, "The gift will help share some of the burden and is an encouragement to us. It shows that we still have the attention and help from the government and public."

Nguyen Van Nghia, head of the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in Le Thuy District, also thanked Dantri readers.

"We’ve always cared for the beneficiaries," Nghia said. "We hope we'll get more help from the community in the future to better care for the beneficiaries and people good military service records."
