Located at 210 Le Van Hien Street in Ngu Hanh Son District, the restaurant has become a second home for many poor people in the area.
The restaurant was opened a month ago by Buddhist Monk Thich Phap Minh who has gathered dozens of volunteers to help prepare the meals for disadvantaged people.
"We're preparing hundreds of meals every day for low-income workers and patients and their relatives at the Danang Maternity and Children's Hospital," Monk Thich Phap Minh said. "Many people have come to enjoy our meals."

The monk shared that many donors have contacted him to help prepare good meals for disadvantaged people.
"We're happy to see the happy faces of poor people coming to our restaurant," he said.

Nguyen Van Lenh, 62, can’t use his right hand and could not do hard work. He left his home in Quang Ngai Province for Danang to work as a lottery ticket seller and earned a modest income. Lenh and some other lottery sellers come to the restaurant where they were given free meals.
"We're facing lots of difficulties earning money to make ends meet everyday," Lenh said. "So we're very grateful to Monk Thich Phap Minh, kind donors and volunteers for supporting us with nutritious meals."
