The Holiday Beach Subway runs under Vo Nguyen Giap Street, linking An Thuong Street to My Khe Beach. It was opened in 2016.

Initially, in addition to being an underground passage, the tunnel was an entertainment space for locals and tourists, with a children's play area, a mini 4D cinema, souvenir stalls, and art classes for pottery and clay modelling.

However, the work has been largely abandoned. Despite the heavy traffic on Vo Nguyen Giap, only a few people use the tunnel.

One entrance of the tunnel facing My Khe Beach has been closed. The entertainment, shopping and recreational facilities in the tunnel have shut. Trees obscure the entrance near An Thuong Street.

When asked about this, many tourists were unaware of the pedestrian tunnel because of the lack of signage.

The tunnel is often flooded even on days without rain.
