Anh instructed Thanh Tri District authorities to tighten control over the hospital quarantine for Covid-19 prevention and control.

Services near the hospital gates have also been suspended.

He added that people should not be so worried about the pandemic but not ignore the disease prevention regulations.

According to the chairman, the supply of necessities and medical equipment must be ensured for the hospital during the lockdown.

Anh noted that the pandemic in the city has remained under control, so social distancing and lockdown measures have not yet been imposed at present. Instead, only areas that are related to Covid-19 patients are locked down.

Hanoi is trying its best to deal with the Covid-19 outbreak, he emphasised.
