Police in the northern province of Thai Nguyen are conducting an investigation to find the person who made up a rumour about a Chinese industrial park in the locality being burnt down by local workers.

On June 18, a clip entitled Vietnamese workers burn the Chinese-invested industrial park named Diem Thuy in Thai Nguyen was posted on Youtube. The clip has attracted thousands of views and comments.
Thai Nguyen authorities denied the information mentioned in the clip, saying that there were no such cases. The information was totally false.
Police are investigating who made up the rumour.
