Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit Vietnam, up to 1,710 foreign experts have come to Binh Duong. Among those, two were infected with SARS-CoV-2, and were quarantined.

The province has so far recorded five Covid-19 cases, including those related to the disease outbreak in the northern province of Hai Duong.
On February 5, all of 247 Covid-19 testing samples in the province were negative for Covid-19.
The province has continued providing Covid-19 tests for people who had close contact with these Covid-19 patients.
Nguyen Hoang Thao, chairman of the provincial people’s committee hailed the great efforts made by Thu Dau Mot City in terms of Covid-19 prevention activities.
He also instructed concerned agencies to support people in quarantined areas.
