On Tuesday, Alsen Alphonse who was on a tour to Nga Bay Town in Hau Giang Province, suddenly faced a pain in the left side of his chest. Despite taking medicine, the problem worsened. After that, he was taken to Can Tho General Hospital.

Alsen Alphonse rescued from cardiac infarction
Doctors diagnosed that he suffered from acute cardiac infarct. The man who has been struggling with high blood pressure for many years ever battled with cardiac infarct seven years ago, which led to him having two stents.
The hospital held an urgent consultation to seek the treatment for the man. They then decided to use another stent for him. It took the doctors up to one and a half hour to finish the operation.
The patient’s coronary arteries and blood pressure have become stabilised. He is now temporarily staying at Can Tho General Hospital for the treatment.
Alphonse said that he has felt much better and expressed his great thanks to the hospital.
Recently, a Singaporean visitor has also been saved by the hospital for cardiac infarction.
