ASIAD 17: 10th silver medal for Vietnam

Nguyen Hoang Ngan, the Vietnamese queen of kata (performance), earned a silver medal at the 17th Asian Games (ASIAD 17) in Incheon, the Republic of Korea, on October 2.

This is the 10th silver medal for Vietnam so far at the ongoing Games.

In the women’s kata category, Shimizu Kiyou of Japan won the gold while Cheung Pui Si of Macao (China) and Tamang Bimal of Nepal bagged the bronze.

So far, the Vietnamese delegation has won a total of 33 medals, including 1 gold, 10 silver and 22 bronze medals.
