The figures showed a fall of 12 accidents,19 fatalities and 11 injures from last year's numbers, the committee said.
The last day of the holiday on May 1 saw 37 accidents which killed 27 people and injured 33.
According to the committee, most of the accidents occurred on roads and were caused by speed and alcohol violations.
Traffic police dealt with a total of 25,904 violations on roads and seized 4,531 vehicles during the holiday. 759 other vehicles were also seized on waterways.
