Around 300 restaurants have expressed interest to join the project, which is expected to be launched on August 8.
Participating restaurants will sell ten of their recommended single dish items at a price of 25-35 THB. Related agencies hope that by September, the project can also be launched in other provinces across the country.
The initiative comes after the success of the “Blue Flag” fairs where blue flag caravans set off to offer the public necessary commodity items at discounted prices, which are 20-40 percent lower than the original market prices.
