Fashion glasses, a favourite make-up product for this year’s Full Moon Festival

This year’s masquerade items are quite diversified; there are different styles of masks, some with fake mustaches and spectacles. Boys prefer more dramatic and scary masks, but girls prefer to look like princesses. As in all other marketing aimed at kids famous cartoon characters dominate this scene.

The Full Moon Festival is a popular harvest festival celebrated by Chinese and Vietnamese people. The festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, during a full moon, so it usually falls in late September or early October in the Gregorian calendar, close to the autumn equinox.
