
The vessel, which can carry more than 1,000 passengers, will depart Vung Tau at 7.30 am on its first day back in operation and return from Con Dao at 1 pm the same day.
From February 27 to March 15, the ferry is scheduled to operate three departures a week from Vung Tau to Con Dao on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with return trips from Con Dao to Vung Tau on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The journey takes about three hours and 30 minutes.
The operator, Phu Quoc Express, said ticket prices would remain unchanged during the initial resumption period.
The company added that it may increase the number of sailings depending on weather conditions and passenger demand.
