Sun PhuQuoc Airways is launched on October 15.

The information was announced at the airline’s launch ceremony held in Hanoi on October 15.

The carrier has so far received its first three aircraft, Airbus A321NX and Airbus A321CEO, out of a planned eight to be deployed this year. By the end of 2026, the fleet is expected to expand to 25 aircraft, reaching around 30-35 by 2027.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways has completed its operational systems, safety procedures, and flight plans, positioning Phu Quoc as its central hub to directly connect major domestic and international cities, aiming to shorten travel times and reduce dependence on transit routes.

At the October 15 event, the airline also unveiled its cabin crew uniforms. The design draws inspiration from the traditional Northern ao ngu than (five-flap gown) and the elegance of Empress Nam Phuong. The uniforms embody strong Asian cultural elements presented through a modern fashion lens.

According to the airline, ticket sales opened on its official website on October 15, with the first commercial flights starting on November 1 on the routes Phu Quoc-Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc-Hanoi, Phu Quoc-Danang, Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City, and Ho Chi Minh City-Danang. From December, the network will further expand with additional routes between Hanoi-Danang and Cam Ranh-Phu Quoc.
