In the video for Song From A Secret Garden, the two musicians appear as travellers, immersed in the region’s unspoilt natural beauty. In the final sequence, they perform on a floating raft in the Trang An scenic complex.

The video was shot in October last year, when the duo performed in Vietnam for the first time. Fionnuala Sherry and Rolf Lovland said playing music in the middle of nature gave them a special feeling, and both were struck by Ninh Binh’s dramatic mountains and waterways.

After the release, the production team donated the video’s rights to provincial leaders, travel companies, hotels, airlines and television stations to help spread images of the heritage site. The group also published the video across its own media channels.
The release forms part of the Good Morning Vietnam project launched by Nhan Dan Newspaper, which invites internationally known instrumental acts to perform in Vietnam as a way of promoting tourism. Before Secret Garden, saxophonist Kenny G and the group Bond took part in similar activities.

Secret Garden is a duo comprising Norwegian pianist and composer Rolf Lovland and Irish violinist Fionnuala Sherry. They rose to fame after winning Eurovision in 1995 with Nocturne, a piece rooted in European Celtic music traditions.
