Yen Tu, a special national relic within the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son-Kiep Bac complex, was inspected by local officials in coordination with the Yen Tu Heritage Conservation Centre and Tung Lam Development JSC.
Inspection teams reviewed infrastructure and reinforced safety railings in steep and hazardous areas, particularly near Dong Pagoda. Additional staff have been deployed to manage crowds, while signage, sanitation and security along pilgrimage routes have been improved.
The 2026 Yen Tu Spring Festival opened on February 26. Free admission and complimentary parking have contributed to a sharp rise in visitor numbers.
On the opening day alone, the Yen Tu scenic complex welcomed 15,112 visitors, up 170 per cent from a year earlier. From January 1 to February 26, total arrivals reached 290,636, a 147 per cent increase year on year.
The surge supports Quang Ninh’s target of attracting 1 million visitors to Yen Tu in 2026.
