Under a plan approved by the Quang Ninh People’s Committee, low- and high-altitude fireworks will be launched to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3 and welcome Tet later in the month.
One display will take place on February 3 in Vinh Thuc Commune. Four displays are scheduled for February 16 in Dong Trieu, Mao Khe, Tuan Chau and Uong Bi, while 14 others will be held on February 17 across locations including Halong, Cam Pha, Mong Cai, Quang Yen and Van Don.
High-altitude fireworks will be organised at two sites, Halong and Van Don, with the remaining 17 locations hosting low-altitude displays.
The provincial Military Command will work with cultural agencies and police to ensure the events are conducted safely.
