According to information from Ninh Binh Province's Department of Tourism regarding the operating schedule of local tourist areas during the Lunar New Year 2026, many attractions, tourist areas, and services in the province will close on February 16-17 (the 29th day of the 12th lunar month and the first day of the Lunar New Year).

The famous tourist areas in Ninh Binh that will close and stop receiving visitors for these two days include: Trang An Ecological Tourist Area, Van Long Wetland, Tuyet Tinh Coc, and Nui Ngam Ecological Tourist Area.
The Bear Sanctuary will close from February 15 to February 19 (from the 28th day of the 12th lunar month to the third day of Tet); the Dinosaur Park will close from February 12 to February 17 (from the 25th day of the 12th lunar month until the end of the first day of Tet).
Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area will close from 7-11 am on February 16 (the 29th day of the 12th lunar month) and from 1-5 pm on February 17 (the first day of Tet).

The remaining tourist areas and attractions that will be open throughout Tet include: Bai Dinh Tourist Area, Thung Ui, Tam Chuc, Thung Nham Bird Garden, Mua Cave, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Hoa Lu Ancient Town, Cuc Phuong National Park, and Xuan Thuy National Park.
In 2025, Ninh Binh's tourism sector welcomed 19.42 million visitors, including over 2.2 million international tourists; total revenue for the sector reached VND 21.278 trillion (USD 818.38 million).
