In Hanoi, a 15-minute firework display will be organised at midnight on January 1, at five locations including Hoan Kiem, Ha Dong, Nam Tu Liem, and Dong Anh districts, and Son Tay Town.
A Countdown Party which will run from the evening of December 31, 2024 until 12:30 am on New Year’s Day at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in Hanoi.
In Hoan Kiem Lake, visitors can also attend a Countdown Party which will run from the evening of December 31, 2024 until 12:30 am on New Year’s Day at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square. The event features performances by popular Vietnamese artists such as Hieuthuhai, Minh Hang, Amee, and Phuong Ly, and cutting-edge sound and lighting effects.
In HMC City, New Year's Eve fireworks will take place for 15 minutes at three locations - high-altitude display at Saigon River Tunnel in Thu Duc City and low-altitude displays at Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11, and Van Phuc Urban Area in Thu Duc City.
HCM City will also organise a New Year countdown celebration on December 31, featuring performances by 40 domestic and international artists in Thu Duc City.
The central city of Danang will also hold two low-altitude fireworks displays to ring in the New Year, one at the Hoa Vang District Administrative Centre and Nguyen Van Troi Bridge over the Han River.
