Seven huge golden lotuses are placed in the middle of Nhieu Loc-Thi Nghe Canal.
"My family worships Buddha, so on every significant Buddhist holiday, we often come to Quan Am Monastery to pray for peace and good health", Nguyen Thi Tien, a local resident, said.
Phap Hoa Pagoda in District 3 has been decorated with hundreds of lotuses and 1,500 lanterns.
