The programme, themed Immerse in the blue sea, enjoy a colourful summer, will run from April 25 to May 3 across key coastal areas, from East Sea Park to Son Tra Peninsula and other popular beaches.
Dozens of giant kites in striking shapes are expected to fill the sky, creating a dynamic visual backdrop during the Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day holiday period.

One of the main highlights, the artistic kite show, will take place from 9 am to 6 pm between April 25 and May 2 at Bien Dong Park, featuring around 30 to 50 oversized kites.
This year’s event will introduce several new attractions, including a Danang Pizza Festival, flyboard performances over the sea, a rice based ice cream experience and a range of beach water games, blending entertainment with cultural creativity.
The programme will also host sporting events such as the third swimming race and the 2026 international lifeguard competition, aimed at drawing top athletes and energising the coastal atmosphere.
In the evenings, visitors can explore Vietnamese cuisine at the Taste of Vietnam food space, alongside nightly music and art performances.
Organisers said the event is designed not only to boost tourism but also to promote sustainable practices, with activities incorporating environmental protection messages.
