In Hanoi, street lamps are being decorated and local authorities are promoting small shops that sell traditional toys on Hang Luoc, Hang Ruoi and Hang Chai streets.
The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Lunar calendar and is devoted to moon-watching and as a celebration of children. This year it falls on September 27.
