Rescue teams from the Khanh Hoa Fire Prevention and Rescue Police, in coordination with the 115 Emergency Centre, responded to an emergency call at around midday reporting a distressed foreign hiker.

They navigated steep and rugged terrain to reach the woman shortly after 12 pm, providing first aid before transporting her down the mountain on a specialised stretcher.
The operation took about 30 minutes, after which she was handed over to medical staff for further treatment.
Authorities urged visitors to prepare adequately for hikes, including maintaining fitness, carrying enough water and using proper equipment.
Co Tien Mountain, which rises to nearly 400 metres, offers panoramic views of Nha Trang but features steep and rocky trails that can become slippery in low light or wet conditions.
