The park spans 400 hectares in Long Binh Ward, Thu Duc City. To date, only a few facilities have been completed, including the Hung Kings’ Memorial Temple and the Nguyen Huu Canh Temple. Meanwhile, supporting structures such as gates, roads, ponds, and the lighting system are still unbuilt.

Inside the park, some road sections are paved with asphalt, while others are left rough with stone and sand.

The cemetery next to the Hung Kings Memorial Temple has yet to be relocated.

The vast parking lot is mostly empty, with only a few bus drivers using it as a midday resting spot.

The project was originally designed with four functional zones representing different historical periods, but most of the site is still an empty plot overgrown with wild grass.

Some areas in the park has turned into an illegal dumping ground.
Huy Lam, a local resident, said, "Even during the day, passing through here gives me chills. At night, I wouldn’t dare to set foot in this place for fear of being robbed.”
The HCM City Department of Planning and Architecture has invited design consultancy firms to join an international competition for planning ideas for the park. The results will serve as a basis for the city's people's committee to adjust the park's master plan in line with the city's broader development strategy.
