Miss Earth 2023 is scheduled to take place from December 1-22 in HCM City where contestants will compete in several segments, such as the national costume competition with an outfit made from recycled, environmentally-friendly materials; a swimsuit competition; and a talent contest.
The pageant will be mainly held in HCM City, while sideline activities will be carried out in nearby localities such as Dong Nai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau, said Truong Ngoc Anh, president of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023.
The final night is scheduled to take place in the southern city on December 22, during which the winners of Miss Earth, Miss Earth Air, Miss Earth Water, and Miss Earth Fire will be announced.
This is the second time that Vietnam has played host to this global pageant, following the 2010 edition. Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 Do Thi Lan Anh will represent Vietnam at the contest.
