The ATM-Medical Bag Programme was launched by the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Vietnam Young Physicians Association to help treat Covid-19 patients at home and ease pressure for local hospitals.

The Vietnam Young Physicians Association first launched the programme for patients in District 10 and Phu Nhuan District. They have treated nearly 600 patients at home and recorded good results. They wanted to further expand the programme and worked with the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association to call for more support.

Dang Hong Anh, president of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association said, "We want to help frontline workers and limit the number of patients and fatalities."

The patients will be consulted by the doctors from the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and given a package including various medicines to treat their symptoms, anti-inflammatory drugs and anticoagulants medicines.

Anh said he had provided financial supports for 1,000 packages. Many firms that have joined the programme are Doji Group, Alphanam Group, Thang Long Investment Group and presidents of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association branches in Hanoi, Ha Giang, Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa.
