According to Le Trung Hieu, director of the provincial Centre for Trade and Investment Promotion, the village has helped to diversify local tourism products. The centre has worked with residents to set up cultural and food areas in the village to serve tourists.

The village is around 100 kilometres from Can Tho City. Visitors can hire a boat to explore the village.

It costs travellers VND150,000-300,000 for a one-way ticket to go to the village from HCM City.

This is a favourite place for people who wish to experience the culture and daily life of the Mekong Delta region’s residents.
