Leaders of An Khe Ward Police in Danang said on May 13 that officers had coordinated with local authorities to help the tourist recover her lost phone after she had already left Vietnam.
Earlier, on May 7, Sineva Anna contacted An Khe Ward Police to report that she had lost her iPhone 13 Pro Max during a trip to Danang that began on April 24.
Anna said the phone contained a large amount of personal data, along with photos and memories from her visit to Vietnam, leaving her deeply concerned.
After receiving the report, An Khe Ward Police worked with officers from the Criminal Police Department under Danang City Police to trace the device.
By gathering information through various communication channels, authorities located the phone and arranged for it to be returned to Anna in Kyrgyzstan.

After learning that her phone had been found, Anna said she was surprised and touched by the efforts of the police and local residents in Danang.
She said she had almost lost hope of recovering the device after several days had passed and she had already returned home.
“I am profoundly grateful to An Khe Ward Police and all the kind people who found my lost phone. I cannot imagine how they managed it. Honestly, I did not even expect to get my phone back,” Anna said in a message sent to the police.
