The project will concentrate on renovating and restoring Hoa Khiem Palace, Minh Khiem Hall, On Khiem Hall, Vu Khiem Gate, and the tomb's technical infrastructure.

The project will reinforce the foundations, steps, and stone column bases, restore the tiled floor, wooden frame system, and lighting, and implement moisture and termite protection measures.

Between 2015 and 2019, the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre preserved and restored parts of Luong Khiem Palace and the Luu Khiem Lake area.

In 2015, Xung Khiem and Du Khiem pavilions were opened to visitors after a two-year restoration.

The tomb of King Tu Duc covers an area of approximately 12 hectares and includes nearly 50 large and small structures.
