Tran Minh Sang, head of District 5’s Board of Economic Affairs, said the district wanted to become a culinary hub of the city. The locality is home to ethnic Chinese Vietnamese, which should also be considered as a special factor in the development of local cuisine.

At the food fair, visitors will have a chance to enjoy different kinds of drinks and dishes, including lots of Chinese breakfast dishes such as dim sum and dumplings. They can also experience online food tours of many southern localities and interact with skilled cooks.
