Petroleum prices sharply drop

Petroleum products prices decreased from 3 pm today, December 1, marking the second consecutive fall since November 21.

Under the decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, the retail prices of E5 RON 92 and RON 95 fell by VND1,000 and VND1,080 per litre to VND21,670 and VND22,700 respectively.

Kerosene declined by VND1,080 per litre to VND23,560 and diesel dropped by VND1,590 per litre to VND23,210.

Meanwhile, mazut oil decreased by VND830 per kilo.

According to the two ministries, global petroleum prices have fallen 6-11 percent over the past ten days, which has been affected due to China’s Covid-19 restrictions.
