According to the website, the central city was once the imperial capital of the Nguyen Dynasty.

“Many of the city’s historical sites are well preserved, including the citadel. The city is home to several UNESCO heritage sites, including shrines, palaces, and pagodas, that embody the strength and tradition of the country’s former kingdom,” the website revealed.

Yahoo! Finance also suggested that travelers should visit the city during the autumn when it is filled with the sweet fragrance of the perfume river, making an even more delightful experience for guests.

Other destinations included on the list were Luang Prabang of Laos, Bagan of Myanmar, Ipoh of Malaysia, Koh Rong of Cambodia, Koh Kood of Thailand, Kerala of India, Busan of the Republic of Korea, Skardu of Pakistan, Leshan of China, Dhaka of Bangladesh, and Hachimantai of Japan.
