Over 5 kilos of marijuana from Canada seized at Ho Chi Minh City airport
Customs officers at Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport have found and seized 5.06 kilos of marijuana transported from Canada to Vietnam.
The marijuana was found packaged in 20 vacuum bags which were hidden into bottles of diet supplements.

The goods were transported from Vancouver City, transiting through Hong Kong on a Cathay Pacific Airways flight. The shipment should have been delivered to a person living in Ho Chi Minh City's District 3.
This was the second illegal drug transportation from Canada reported in just a few days.
On December 31, customs officers at Tan Son Nhat Airport also seized 4.72 kilos of marijuana which were hidden in the same packages transported from Toronto.
The case is under investigation.
