The US Mission to Vietnam’s Fulbright Programme has announced the 2025 Fulbright Specialist Programme which supports Vietnamese institutions by funding short-term visits from US scholars and experienced professionals in a variety of disciplines from two (2) to six (6) weeks.
Projects will be implemented and completed between August 1, 2025 and September 30, 2026.
Vietnamese institutions have been invited to apply for the opportunity to host Fulbright specialists to help their institutions prepare curriculum, develop faculty, conduct institutional planning, and train on topics critical to advancing shared goals.
Institutions looking to host a specialist in STEM fields are especially welcome to apply.
Specialists will support the host institutions in a variety of activities including delivering a seminar or workshop, consulting on faculty or workforce development, developing academic or training curricula and materials, lecturing at the graduate or undergraduate level, and conducting needs assessments or evaluations for a programme or institution.
Vietnamese higher education institutions (colleges, universities, academies, institutes), government institutions (ministries or agencies, courts, parliamentary or representative bodies, non-governmental organizations, cultural institutions (conservatories, museums, etc.), medical institutions (public health organizations, teaching hospitals, etc.) and think tanks are encouraged to apply.
The application deadline is set for Friday, February 28, 2025.
