The second prize was awarded to Nguyen Manh Cuong for his image-capturing merchants from the Mekong Delta transporting ornamental trees to HCM City in preparation for the festive season.
Pham Quoc Dung also won second prize for his photograph of a traditional wrestling match at a spring festival in Thai Nguyen province, which portrays the strength and resilience embedded in local culture.
The third prize was awarded to Nguyen Phu Khanh for his unique capture of Hanoi's streets on the morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year, featuring a female police officer conversing with an international visitor after completing her night shift on New Year's Eve.
The third prize was also awarded to Vu Minh Hien for his work Tet Arrives Early on a Remote Island, depicting a delegation bringing Tet gifts and warm wishes to fishermen and soldiers stationed on Bach Long Vi Island in Hai Phong.
Nguyen Thi Phuong Hong was additionally awarded the third prize for her powerful image taken inside an emergency operating room at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Hanoi on the second day of Tet. The image highlights the dedication of medical professionals during the holiday.
The consolation prize was awarded to Nguyen Xuan Han for his work Spring Affection.
The consolation prize was also awarded to Tran Ngoc Anh for a visually stunning image of tea pickers working beneath cherry blossom trees in Lam Dong.
The consolation prize was additionally awarded to Nguyen Trang Kim Cuong for his dynamic shot of a lion and dragon dance performance, a traditional spectacle during Tet celebrations.
