A woman from Ben Tre Province is in need of financial support to treat a tumor on her face.

Tran Thi Dong, 62, struggles to breath because the tumor on her face now covers her right eye and her nose.
Thach Van Quy, Dong's husband said, "She had a small bump on her face 24 years ago and it grew bigger with time."
The growth gained pace three months ago, causing Dong pain and making it harder to breathe. By the time she reached Cho Ray Hospital in July, it had grown so big that it had blinded her right eye and started attacking brain tissue.
Their neighbours donated over VND10m and Cho Ray Hospital covered the cost of the VND45m surgery to remove the tumor. But Dong still needs chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Unable to follow the treatment, Dong went home but her condition got worst and the lump on her face grew again. Dong's husband borrowed money to bring her back to hospital.

Nguyen Ngoc Khang, of Cho Ray Hospital, said she needs more treatment if she is to survive.
Dong's husband can't walk properly because he has had twisted legs since birth. Dong had multiple miscarriages so the couple still don't have any children. The couple sell lottery tickets to earn an income.
"The money is enough for daily needs. Sometimes we didn't have enough money to buy medicine for a cold. Our relatives are also poor so they can't help us," Quy said.
