A poor couple in Ha Nam Province is calling for financial help to save their third child who suffers from a serious condition just four days after birth.
Vien Duc Tuan and his wife Nguyen Thi Nga have already lost two children when they were less than 2 months old. Now, their fourth son, Duc Anh, is facing death due to an autoimmune deficiency, the same condition that took his two brothers.
Duc Anh is facing the death risk
Doctors said that the boy in in need of a bone marrow transplant within one week to save him.
The difficulty in the case of Duc Anh is that the marrow offered by of his six-year old brother and his parents is not a match. So, doctors will have to treat the marrow with in hopes that his body will not reject it. The treatment costs VND400 million, a sum unobtainable for them.
Duc Anh’s mother Nguyen Thi Nga said that she and her husband are looking to sell their house and have got loans from their relatives, but all this money has been spent on testing.

In 2007 Nga lost her first son who was just shy of two months old. In 2009, she had a second son who is now in the first grade, but is also much smaller than his friends.
In 2011, the couple had a third son; however, he also died of symptoms similar to those of his brother.
Now the mother is focusing all her hope on the possibility that she might be able to get the treatment her son needs.
