A family in Ha Tinh Province is calling for help to bring their three-year-old daughter, who is suffering from congenital adrenal hyperplasia, to hospital.

At just 20 months old, Nguyen Mai Anh was diagnosed with congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Doctors advised Anh's parents to keep her in hospital but without money, she was brought home.
Nguyen Tien Hung, Anh's father, said she often suffered from severe pain but they do not have enough money to buy more medicine.
Doctors said Anh might face a high risk of cardiovascular disease if she is not treated soon.

"We have to go to Hanoi to buy medicines and they are costly. We don't know what to do now," he said. "We've reached a dead end."
The family has a small rice field but Hung also works as freelance labourer to support the family. He borrowed VND130m from the bank and friends and cannot borrow more.
Nguyen Duy Lan, head of Dai Thanh Village, said, "The village tries to help them but we can only do so much."
