The Editor-in-Chief of Dantri Newspaper, Pham Tuan Anh, launches the Vietnam ESG Awards 2024 on October 30.
The awards were launched at a conference on the environment, social and governance (ESG) issues and its connection to building sustainable workforces held by Dantri in Hanoi on October 30,
Dantri's Editor-in-Chief, Pham Tuan Anh, thanked all government officials, experts, and enterprise representatives for attending the event. He stressed that the conference highlighted valuable data and points of view helpful to policymakers and business leaders.
"As a media agency, we're organising events on ESG to allow local government officials, experts and enterprises to share their experiences in sustainable development," Anh said. "As a sub-organisation operating under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, we've also learned much from this workshop."

Anh said that ESG was a big concept, so they wanted to organise a long-term forum with conferences, workshops, and seminars focusing on each criterion and their inter-relationships.
"We're organising more conferences, seminars, and main events with the participation of leaders of the party, state and concerned departments and agencies," he said. "There will also be an event honouring businesses that have contributed significantly to ESG.
The Dantri leader also announced that they had started receiving registrations from enterprises for the ESG Awards organised by the newspaper.
Registrations can be sent from October 30 to November 30, with awards in the environment, social issues and governance.
