The houses belong to a high-end eco-tourism project jointly invested by Ha Co Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and Ha Anh Import-Export Construction Joint Stock Company.
The villas have deteriorated after being left unused for more than a decade. Some have been covered by graffiti.
Due to the sluggish pace of construction, Lam Dong authorities allowed Ocean Vision Joint Stock Company to take over the project in late 2021. However, the situation did not improve.
Ngo Van Ninh, a Lam Dong People's Committee spokesman, said the project's licence would soon be revoked.
