The total wealth in Vietnam grew by 210% from 2007 to 2017 and is expected to reach 200% in the next decade. Vietnam is leading the list of global wealth growth rate, followed by China in second place. The number of super-rich people in China has increased by 281%.

Most of the growth in Vietnam is contributed by the super-rich class who have at least USD30m of investment property alone.

According to the Wealth Report 2017 by Knight Frank, Vietnam has about 200 super-rich people, an increase by 320% compared to 2000-2016 period. Vietnam is also becoming more attractive as Danang was listed as one of the top 10 places to live by Live and Invest Overseas Magazine.

Low labour costs and increasing skilled workforce have raised Vietnam's position in the South East Asia and attracted foreign investors.
