Vietnamese students won seven prizes at the Digital Youth Award, an international robotics contest held in Malaysia.

Vietnamese students won seven prizes at the Digital Youth Award (DYA), an international robotics contest held in Malaysia.

The awards included one first prize, one second prize, three distinction prizes and two excellence prices.

A team from Le Ngoc Han Primary School in HCM City wins the excellence prize

The Vietnamese delegation had 24 teams from three schools in Hanoi and two in HCM City.

This year's theme was “Zero Waste”, and the contest drew the participation of over 100 teams from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.

The contest provided student aged between the ages of 6 and 13 a chance to compete in the field of applied IT and design robotic solutions with the potential of helping deal with some of the pressing issues arising in modern cities.
