Authorities said localities responsible for sending recruits and receiving units have worked closely throughout the conscription process to ensure targets are met with strict standards and absolute safety.
Receiving units have prepared detailed plans to take over and transport new recruits, as well as arranging accommodation, meals and daily necessities from their first day in service.

In Ho Chi Minh City, following its merger with two neighbouring provinces in 2025, the city this year has called up 9,105 citizens for military service, nearly double last year’s quota and the highest figure nationwide.
According to Vu Van Dien, commander of the Ho Chi Minh City high command, the city has been assigned to recruit 9,105 citizens, including 7,300 for military service and 1,805 for service in the people’s public security force. Five of the recruits are women.
The city plans to hold its handover ceremony on the morning of March 4.
Meanwhile, the Military Service Council of Hanoi said that, based on recruitment results, the capital has issued call up orders for more than 4,000 citizens to join the armed forces in 2026.
