This was announced yesterday in Ho Chi Minh City by the World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF) at a meeting to review the Earth Hour campaign 2010 and evaluate results of activities conducted to raise public awareness of climate change’s impacts on Vietnam and the world.

This year’s campaign drew the participation of around 5,000 individuals and businesses in 20 provinces and cities nationwide.

In response to the Earth Hour campaign, hundreds of photos and short films depicting people’s viewpoints of climate change were shot and made public.

On this occasion, awards were presented to collectives and individuals who won prizes in photo and film contests during the Earth Hour campaign.
