Vietnam meets adequate conditions for hosting the 8th World Congress of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations (WFUCA) in 2011, said President Goerge Christophides.
The President of the WFUCA made the remark on June 17 in Hanoi while paying a courtesy visit to Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem.
Mr. Goerge Christophides is on a week-long working visit to Vietnam for the organization of the next World Congress of the WFUCA.
Deputy PM Khiem underlined that once the World Congress comes to Vietnam, delegates will have wide opportunities to witness the robust growth here and know about beauties of the Vietnamese land and people as well as tangible and intangible cultural heritages which were recognized by the UNESCO.
According to the Deputy PM, Vietnam pledges to closely coordinate with the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations to fruitfully host the event.
