Vietnam prepares for 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup
The national beach football team will gather in Nha Trang in central Khanh Hoa province from February 25 to March 29 to prepare for the Asian elimination round of the upcoming 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
The national beach football team will gather in Nha Trang in central Khanh Hoa province from February 25 to March 29 to prepare for the Asian elimination round of the upcoming 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
The 16-person team includes 13 athletes, 2 coaches, and a doctor, according to an announcement made by the Vietnam Football Federation on February 22.
The Asian elimination round will take place in Qatar with 17 participating teams. The global tournament will be held in Praia da Baia, Portugal from July 9 – 19.
Currently, the Vietnamese team ranks 31st globally and 4th regionally.
