Vietnam, Australia cooperate in auditing

The State Audit of Vietnam and the Society of Certified Practising Accountants of Australia on Jan. 13 signed a cooperative agreement in Hanoi.

Under the five-year agreement, the two sides would cooperate in exchanging experiences and information through local seminars, workshops and professional network expansion. Annually, the SAV will send staff to Australia to take CPA courses for professional development.

This activity marks an important progress of the SAV to raise the quality of human resources and state auditing activities in Vietnam, contributing to the development of the auditing profession and public sector auditing./.
